BioLabShare, LLC was founded in 2019 with a bold vision: to transform the way biotechnology, life sciences, and health-tech startups access essential infrastructure — by creating a co-living + co-working bioincubator community that is affordable, inclusive, and built for innovation.
Our headquarters and flagship campus is located in Huntsville, Alabama — a city known for its high quality of life, growing tech ecosystem, and a strong base of researchers, engineers, and scientists.
At BioLabShare, we believe that scientific discovery and technological breakthroughs should not be limited by high costs or social barriers. From the beginning, our mission has been to democratize access to wet-lab space, office facilities, and research infrastructure — especially for entrepreneurs and researchers from historically under-represented backgrounds.
Through combining living, working, and research spaces in one integrated hub, BioLabShare aims to create a vibrant, collaborative community — where ideas, talent, and diversity converge. We are not just building labs and apartments; we are building a platform to “birth geniuses,” to nurture groundbreaking research, and to foster a more inclusive future in biotechnology and health innovation.
Our commitment is two fold:
Provide affordable, high-quality infrastructure — wet labs, offices, shared facilities, co-living accommodation — to lower the entry barrier for early-stage biotech startups and emerging researchers.
Foster diversity and inclusion — by partnering with educational institutions (including Historically Black Colleges & Universities), offering internships and fellowships, and giving under-represented communities a chance to participate in cutting-edge scientific work.
Since inception, BioLabShare has committed to sustainable growth: our plans include building not only the bioincubator & office space, but also residential units and community amenities — making our facility a full-fledged live/work/research campus.
